Dr James (Jimmy) McLaren 

Dr James (Jimmy) McLaren is a Sports and Exercise Medicine Physician in Torquay.  His areas of interest include the non-surgical management of joint osteoarthritis and tendinopathies.  Treatment includes platelet rich plasma (PRP), hyaluronic acid and cortisone injections, as well as radial shock wave therapy. 

Jimmy aims to improve your pain and function by confirming accurate diagnosis and addressing underlying contributing causes. He treats people of all ages and activity levels, from running marathons to returning to walking, gardening and golf. 

His experience includes working with AFL teams, Winter Olympic athletes, and covering World Surf League (WSL) events.
